klinsmann is last time germany that coach uh?last season with bayern one is it?

kopiosatu SG

if u see a player giving his all for every game, people can tell.

its either the manager controlling too much or the players are just not interested in playing.

with benitez, i think he's controlling too much

good example is kuyt

which manager would put a player like that on the right wing? i rather he put kuyt back to be a striker with torres and let him fight for the ball so torres can pick up the pieces.

i don't blame kuyt, he still scores in international games, he played well before coming to liverpool to be dumped on the wings.

players don't get lousy overnight.

limpper SG

The press and the fans are forgetful people.

Imagine Ah Ben winning against Lyon at midweek.

Then he is a genius.

Even how bad Liverpool played, I will support them.

But, it pains me to see them struggle against Hull and Sunderland.

Ah Ben have been give 5 seasons to learn about BPL.

It is time to show what he is make of.

Liverpool lacks creative and game winner like ronaldo.

Ah Ben prefer puppy boys like Kuyt and Lucas.

I guess the fans can tolerate defeat if they see players playing their heart out.

Now even the players bay song Ah Ben liao.

exactly!

liverpool seriously lack of that creative spark in the middle

no creativity kind of play kills.

nah, to me, even if rafael bring back the epl title, i want him out.

best if he can bring the yanks and lucas

if still got space, i wont mind kuyt and gang to follow

i share the same statement as you

"Even how bad Liverpool played, I will support them."

but it's really frustrating for now

kopiosatu SG

if i see wenger get sacked by arsenal, that would be worse than sacking benitez

wenger has created a system there, the way arsenal play now is due to wenger. if he goes and a new fella comes in, will arsenal play the same way?

for man utd, the challenge will be the day SAF leaves the post.

for chelsea, its when roman decides to stop playing championship manager (club owner edition)

but for liverpool, the system needs a rehaul.

benitez won the UCL, with houllier's team - dudek, traore, smicer, biscan, baros, hamann... etc etc

benayoun can be playmaker... easily

but i won't be surprised that every dribble that benayoun makes, is an instruction from rafa

rafa just likes to micro manage... too much for the team's good

limpper SG

kuyt isnt lousy, on a positive note, he's rather hardworking

but sometimes, when he run up and down the field to chase that ball, and a few simply tricks from opponent can fake him. it's rather a joke to me.

Rafa thinks too much.

rafa plays too much winning eleven

Medicated Oil SG

Ah Ben is famous for:

- Playing players out of position.

- Deploying formation that his players are unable to fit in.

- Sticking to hardworking ? and lousy players.

- Keep creative players out of the 1st team. (Benny is the exception)

- Tinkering. (Confuse his opponent but confuse his own players also)

- Destructing players that saved his ass (Alonso, Crouch and Keane)

- Never admiting that he is wrong.

- Telling BIG FAT Lies (Depth = 3 center-half)

because, first things first, he is not a defender.

he can chase and hassle the fella, but don't expect him to tackle like maldini.

in fact, he never get more cards than paul scholes is not bad already.

kuyt is good as a hard working striker, running for everything, hassling defenders to make them cock up.

charlize SG

He is a contrarian lah.

I bet if one day, every team in the EPL quit the standard 4-4-2 formation, you can be sure he will play it in every game.

limpper SG

out of a squad of 25 players. only one playmaker. and this particular playmaker aint something so magical kind.

so... it's a sad case for liverpool now..

hardworking is good. really.

but that style of him dont suit liverpool,or rather the way i hope liverpool will play.

Nothing wrong with being hardworking and pressuring defenders.

Tevez does that often and brilliantly to force defenders to make quick decisions in the hopes that some of the defenders will panic and give away the ball.

I do agree that pairing Kuyt and Torres upfront as an out an out striker supporting each other is way better than leaving Torres just by himself.

kopiosatu SG

i got nothing against hardworking lousy / average players

eric meijer sucks as a player, didn't get many games but the kop loves him

kuyt may not have technical ability but while the rest are giving up or taking a break, he's still chasing after that ball.

did you guys forget how he hassled giggs at the goal line and won the ball, then he crossed it for babel to score against man utd? give that same situation to babel, do u think he will bother going all the way?

but i have something against lazy, lousy players, that is the worst combination.

kopiosatu SG

kevin keegan wasn't a good player

he was super hardworking and he scored goals

but shankly didn't put him as a winger

Medicated Oil SG

Mr Limpper,

Guess what ?

http://www.thisisanfield.com/2009/10/19/why-rafa-could-qui/

Since when the ang moh start thinking like singaporean ?

Without one old man, Singapore would perish.

kopiosatu SG

the main problem is benitez

change the manager and let the players play to their strengths instead of benitez's winning eleven control.

i am sure they will improve.

kopiosatu SG

i didnt really see how keegan played when he's in liverpool, but he doesnt get tricked as easily as dirk right? or are they almost the same style of player?

how to get tricked when he isn't playing as a defensive winger?

i'm sure keegan would look like a fool if he was given the same job as kuyt.
